Permits in Cypress

Cypress is not a city, so most of it is unincorporated Harris County. Harris County's Office of the County Engineer issues development and floodplain permits for homes and businesses, and commercial buildings also go through county fire code review, with a Fire Marshal inspection before opening. Master-planned communities add their own architectural review. We prepare the drawings each office asks for and follow them to approval.

Do I need a permit to build in unincorporated Harris County?

Harris County requires a permit for development in unincorporated areas, and commercial buildings also need fire code review. We confirm what your project needs and prepare the drawings.

Can you design a backyard with a pool and a patio cover?
